Biography

Dr. Neu is a graduate of Dalhousie University medical school (1976) and the University of Toronto plastic surgery residency program(1982).

He carried out two years of postgraduate fellowship training:

1. Head and neck reconstructive and aesthetic surgery - Roswell Park Memorial Institute (Buffalo); Dr Rex Peterson and associates private clinics (Phoenix).

2. Abdominal and Breast reconstructive and aesthetic surgery - The Mayo Clinic (Rochester).

3. Hand surgery - University of Toronto Murray fellowship.

Dr. Neu is a founding member of the Ontario Society of Plastic Surgeons, and was it's first term president (1996 - 1998).

He is the first Canadian to become a member of the Rhinoplasty Society (2004).

He has been on staff at North York General Hospital since 1983, and has been Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery since 2009.

Dr Neu specializes in cosmetic surgery. He has written multiple peer reviewed papers and has lectured extensively, particularly in the areas of rhinoplasty and abdominoplasty. He has received international recognition and multiple awards for his work.
