Dr. Kevin Zuo completed medical school at the University of Alberta, residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto, and fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre, Harvard Medical School.
He is a graduate of the Surgeon-Scientist Training Program, obtaining a Master of Applied Science from the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. His thesis investigated translational strategies of enhancing peripheral nerve regeneration and was completed under the supervision of neuroscientist Dr. Tessa Gordon and plastic surgeon Dr. Greg Borschel.
Dr. Zuo's clinical interests are in all aspects of hand, wrist, and peripheral nerve surgery, as well as reconstructive surgery for facial paralysis. His research interests include peripheral nerve imaging and patient reported outcomes.
