Sharon Kim

Dr. Sharon Kim is a plastic surgeon sub-specializing in surgery of the hand and wrist at the Queensway Health Centre, Trillium Health Partners (THP), where she has practised since 2017. She is a Lecturer in the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery, Department of Surgery, University of Toronto. She completed her B.Sc.(Hon) at the University of British Columbia and her Medical Degree at the University of Calgary, followed by residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Western University. She then completed the Hand and Wrist Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.

Before joining THP, Dr. Kim spent ten years at Brampton Civic Hospital – William Osler Health System, where she built a busy sub-specialized hand and wrist practice in the community.

Dr. Kim is President of the THP Professional Staff Association, representing approximately 1,400 professional staff members. She is a graduate of the OMA–Rotman physician leadership program and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
