Aesthetic

Aesthetic surgery is taught at multiple sites including Women’s College Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, North York General Hospital, and the Michael Garron Hospital. Residents participate in surgical care and post-operative care for aesthetic patients.

The resident aesthetic rotation occurs at the Plastic Surgery Clinic in Mississauga under the supervision of Dr. Jamil Ahmad. At this clinic, the residents assess patients, make decisions about care and then perform the surgical procedures, all under the supervision of faculty.

Through these multiple sources, the residents are exposed to all aspects of aesthetic surgery including aesthetic procedures of the head and neck, breast and body contouring.
