The Ross Tilley Burn Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, part of the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Toronto is currently seeking to fill positions in Total Burn Care Clinical Fellowship.

The candidate must have completed their residency in General or Plastic Surgery and be eligible to write the Board examination in their specialty. We offer a profound education in total burn and critical care.
The candidate, must have a strong interest in burn, trauma, and critical care. In association with the clinical fellowship we also offer cutting-edge research in a well-funded laboratory in association with the Sunnybrook Research Institute.
The fellow will be taking responsibility for total care of the burn patient. This will include complete medical care, critical care, and surgical care of patients with acute burn injury. Progressive responsibility in follow-up care and post burn rehabilitation will be expected. There will be some opportunity to develop skills in post burn reconstructive surgery, but the primary intention of the fellowship is to provide training in total acute and rehabilitative care of burn patients. Fellows will work under the supervision of the 4 attending burn surgeon-intensivists, and will be given progressively increased and graded responsibilities. Fellows are also expected to participate in day to day teaching of medical students and junior residents assigned to the burn centre.
