Quinton Chivers

Dr. Quinton Chivers earned a BSc in Pharmacology in 2002 and his MD from the University of Calgary in 2006. He subsequently completed specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, followed by advanced fellowship training in Upper Extremity and Microsurgery (2011), Breast and Aesthetic Surgery (2012), and Hair Restoration Surgery (2013).

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Dr. Chivers is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a practice spanning reconstructive, microsurgical, breast, body-contouring, aesthetic, and hair-restoration surgery. He is the founder and Medical Director of the Canadian Plastic Surgery Centre and has developed several multidisciplinary surgical and medical practices. His career has combined high-volume clinical practice, surgical leadership, medical education, healthcare entrepreneurship, and service with the Canadian Armed Forces.

MD, FRCSC — Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Chivers is also a Lecturer at the University of Toronto and serves as a Major in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve.

POSITIONS AND HONOURS

Dr. Chivers is a Staff Plastic Surgeon at Scarborough Health Network, with clinical responsibilities across its hospital sites. He has previously served in senior leadership roles including Chief of Plastic Surgery at Centenary Hospital and Ajax-Pickering Hospital and Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scarborough Health Network. He also serves as Medical Director of the Canadian Plastic Surgery Centre and has contributed to the training and education of medical students and surgical trainees through the University of Toronto.
