Dr. Steven Hanna is a Royal College-certified plastic surgeon in Toronto with a practice concentrated in advanced facial aesthetic surgery. He completed his medical degree at Queen’s University, earning the T.R. Sullivan Memorial Prize for highest surgical proficiency, before completing residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Hanna further advanced his surgical expertise through the Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City, widely regarded as the oldest and most prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship in the world. There, he trained under internationally recognized leaders in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, injectables, and advanced body contouring techniques. He is the only surgeon currently practicing in Canada to have completed this fellowship.

His clinical practice emphasizes complex facial aesthetic procedures, including deep plane facelift and neck lift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and facial fat grafting. His approach prioritizes technical precision, sound surgical judgment, and natural aesthetic outcomes tailored to each patient.

Dr. Hanna holds hospital privileges at North York General Hospital in Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and an Active Member of The Aesthetic Society, where he previously held a national leadership role.

Dr. Hanna has published extensively in aesthetic surgery, with particular focus on rhinoplasty and facelift surgery, and has presented his work internationally. He remains actively engaged in surgical education, teaching University of Toronto plastic surgery residents on topics in aesthetic surgery. He has provided formal operative instruction to practicing surgeons adopting modern deep plane facelift techniques. He has served as invited faculty at advanced cadaver-based facelift courses internationally, including at the University of Cambridge, where he taught established surgeons contemporary deep plane facelift surgery.
