I am thrilled to announce a new major gift from Dr. Walter J. Peters PhD, MD ‘72, FRCSC ’77 (Plastic Surgery) in support of the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery Chair’s Fund. This generous addition brings Dr. Peters’ lifetime support for our division to $500,000, reflecting his long-standing dedication to strengthening the future of our specialty.

Dr. Peters’ support serves as a testament to the enduring commitment of our alumni to propel our division forward, enabling us to expand our educational initiatives and push the boundaries of ground-breaking research.
Upon retiring from surgical practice in 2019, Dr. Peters established the endowed Dr. Wally Peters Surgeon Scientist Scholarship, as a way to both help advance his field and to commemorate a fulfilling career. We are humbled and privileged to count Dr. Walter Peters among our esteemed supporters and are profoundly grateful for his contribution to the growth and advancement of our division.
