  • To date, we have identified 457 plastic surgery alumni
  • We are currently in touch with 68% of our alumni via e-mail
  • 26% are graduates of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Toronto
  • Approximately 50% of our alumni were past clinical or research fellows
  • In terms of nationality: 
    • 72% are Canadian
    • 10% are American
    • 3% of alumni are from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Currently, we have practice information on 187 alumni
    • 47% have an academic practice
    • 36% have a community-based practice
    • 5% are retired

Long-term Alumni Goal:

To build a lifelong partnership between the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and its alumni that encourages active participation in the life of the Division and cultivates support from its vibrant international community.

As a Division we will strive to further:

  • Reach, serve and engage all alumni
  • Foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between the Division and its alumni
  • Represent alumni interests and concerns to the Department of Surgery and University
  • Communicate the activities of the Division and alumni
  • Provide on-going professional education to alumni
